Bubble-Wrapped Pool for Beijing's Olympic Games



Check out the cool newly unveiled swimming hall or "Water Cube" that will be one of the main events at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. This blue honeycomb cost almost $150mil, but will likely have a pretty return on investment, because of the droves of tourists in town for the Games.

A cool fact just revealed to me was that it is Pigeon proof because apparently birds don't flock to transparent spaces. What about the car windshields?!…
