“How to Lose Friends and Alienate People” Trailer!

In this hilariously funny fish-out-of-water tale, “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People” tracks the outrageous escapades of Sidney Young (Simon Pegg), a smalltime, bumbling, British celebrity journalist who is hired by an upscale magazine in New York City. In spectacular fashion Sidney enters high society and burns bridges with bosses, peers and superstars. The film is based on Toby Young’s memoir of the same name and also stars Kirsten Dunst, Danny Huston, Gillian Anderson, Megan Fox, Max Minghella and Jeff Bridges. Directed by Robert Weide, the film will be released by MGM Distribution Co. on October 3, 2008.

NEWS.i.e. Christian Bale Arrested for being a Psycho!!!

As shocking as it may sound, the Batman lead, Christian Bale, was accused of assault by his own flesh and blood. He attacked his mother, 61 and sister, 40 on sunday night, followed by being reported to the London police. However, because of the London premier of The Dark Knight, the London police decided not to pursue with arrest. I guess his conscience got the better of him and he voluntarily gave himself up after walking down the red carpet.

The London police are discreetly addressing the press by stating that "A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody."

UPDATE:

“Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister,” the actor’s reps said in the statement. “Mr. Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale.”

and TMZ is reporting rumors that the accusations were for *verbal* assault.

A-Rod's Got Game!

Whether they did it or not, these guys are pushing A-Rod's buttons, stirring his emotions which he takes out on the ball and hits a home run! You see, all these rumors are only making his game better, which means he'll earn even more money, making him the most wanted man in baseball, which will make Madonna want him even more. So I don't really see the end of this working out very well for Guy Richie, who I think is the brilliant one in all of this. What he should do is use this mess in one of his upcoming Snatch-ish films and have the Russians finish A-Rod off. Classic Hollywood ending!

An exciting cinematical experience is coming to the couches in your home. Owners of XBox 360 now have the advantage of watching Netflix online movies and tv episodes for free on their own big screen, as opposed to just your computer screen. Neflix is the world's largest online movie rental source and now goes even more out of their way to bring convenience and comfort to it's subscribers. Microsoft is also trying their best to offer a competitive edge on their products:

In a matter of 30 seconds you can view your favorite movies, compared to half an hour it will take you get in the car and drive to Blockbuster.

What Ballroom Dancing Does to Boys...

And I can openly talk about what ballroom dancing does to boys because I used to dance with them. Let's just say the concept of tightness transcends to the body and the clothes that adorn it. However, recent champion of Dancing with the Stars, Joey Lawrence, took it to the next level. From the image bellow, it appears he borrowed his wife's skinny jeans and that's her in the photo almost cracking up at how slightly ridiculous that looks. I'm all for buff men wearing things that will show off their muscles, in fact I encourage my bf to do it, he's got the shoulders for it. But skinny jeans, being all the rage in the Emo world, are just not there yet for masculine strong types in my opinion. Anyone agree?

I had the pleasure of meeting him at the premier of DWTS that season, and he was just one of the sweetest and most sincere guys. But these photos make me wonder just how sweet he is...

NEWS.i.e. Bill Clinton fell off Hillary's Campaign Trail with Gina Gershon and a few other interns

Apparently, Bill Clinton is not considering Hillary's best interests. Like many, he's also given up on her presidential campaign by letting his affairs get the best of him. Vanity Fair has captured the sexcapades of our former President, while on the Presidential tour "supporting" his wife. How much of this is true, we may never know. However, it's enough to stir up the rumors once again, at the worst time possible. Check out the video:

NEWS.i.e. Chess World Champion Interrupted by a Flying Penis!

Former World Chess Champion and Kremlin critic, Garry Kasparov, has been attacked by radio-controlled penis during a meeting of opposition activists. The 20 second stunt was set off while 700 opponents of the Kremlin were attending Kasparov’s address in Moscow last weekend.

Pro-Kremlin demonstrators decided to interrupt Kasparov’s address, designed to unite opposition political forces, by launching a rotor-assisted plastic phallus towards Mr Kasparov.

Kasparov laughed off the incident remarking that it was "below the belt" .

"I think we have to be thankful for the opposition's demonstration of the level of discourse we need to anticipate," he said.

An onlooker said the incident was a "genital reminder about who is in charge".

Kasparov became the youngest ever World Chess Champion in 1985 but is widely known for being the first world chess champion to lose a match to a computer, when he lost to Deep Blue in 1997.

He announced his retirement from professional chess in 2005 to devote time to politics. He later formed the United Civil Front movement, and became a member of The Other Russia, a coalition opposing the administration of Vladimir Putin.

Terminator is Back!!! With Bale as John Connor!!!

Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins is the new trilogy scheduled for production with a storyline emphasis on John Connor, played by Christian Bale and directed by James Cameron.

“He’s really an actor’s actor, so we’re very proud,” said Victor Kubicek of film company Halcyon. Charlie’s Angels director McG is directing the new film, which is due to be released on 22 May 2009.

“Christian was our first choice and he’s a big fan of The Terminator, so we’re very lucky,” Kubicek told the BBC at the Cannes Film Festival.

“But with Batman he’s already done the whole franchise thing, so we weren’t sure he’d respond.”

Luckily, said Kubicek’s business partner Derek Anderson, “he read the script and he loved it, so he’s signed on for all three.”

“We can’t talk about the story points at all,” said Kubicek, adding the project was being kept strictly under wraps. “Not everyone gets to see the script. They only see the part of the script that’s relevant to the job they’re doing.”
